Happy end of May!
It's been a busy May, so here's a quick update. The "Love Forward" Fundraiser. The biggest event of the month was our Love Forward fundraiser. It was a massive community effort featuring live plays and an entire live orchestra performance. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was incredible. I brought my camera along to document the whole thing. Photos are below.
Church Youth Classes
We are still consistently teaching the kids at the church every week. It takes a lot of energy to keep them focused, but they are showing up, putting in the work, and steadily building their English skills. It’s rewarding to see the consistency pay off.
Private Lessons with the Pastor
Looking ahead to next month, I’m expanding our teaching tracks to include private lessons for the pastor. This is a great opportunity to work one-on-one with local leadership, build a deeper relationship, and help him sharpen his language tools for the community work he does.
